Can i use a Ralink wireless adapter as a SoftAP on windows 7? if so, how?

I'm connecting to the internet through a usb 3g verizon adapter, and i'm searching for a method to broadcast internet wirelessly through our house with a RaLink wireless adapter. the software that came with the adapter doesn't seem to be very helpful, so i'm looking for suggestions on how to achieve this. heavy detail isn't needed, just a few website links will be helpful. possibly some guidelines on how to properly use the adapter's software. it seems to have options to set up a SoftAP, but i am having trouble setting up ICS with the 3g usb antenna. thanks!
