Add a user Group

I was wondering how to create a new user group. The default is Registered and Special.
I would like to create a group that can only see a few things on the site. I have a place for employees to login and submit there tiime card. My site also excepts payments for the gym membership throught paypal. Once the person buys a membership, they become Registered Users and can login and get to the time card spot. Any ideas? Thanks
