Link promotion

I'd rather do the work than pay to have someone else do it for me. Everyone out there wants money for something in the eyes of the newbie like me. I'm very apprehensive to throw anybody a penny until I've seen their free services really work for me. If you had a free, or nearly free service, that installed some script on my site that I could view all the traffic directed to me from your site and offered a better version at low cost then I'd likely sign up.
