What is the best place to have a holiday in Australia?

Perth in early summer - you wont regret it. Perth has some of the most beautiful beaches in the county, glorious weather and really friendly people. Theres plenty of shopping, and you can also do river cruises etc. You can tour Subiaco, and watch cricket or tennis if its that time of year. You can also hire a car and drive down to the wineries and chocolate factory at Margaret River, or have fish and chips on the pier at Freemantle. And I would recommend catching a ferry to Rottnest Island - so many people ride bikes around the island, it's got such beautiful views.
