If you call around, some places might be willing to rent to you even if you're not 18. The reasoning is as a minor, you can't be held to any of the terms of the contract. This means most storage facilities' policies are to rent only to non-minors. However, if you offer to pay for a block of time upfront (say 6 months) or get somebody older to put it in their name, you can probably get around that restriction.
